An Inconvenient Smell

A company not willing to back down on environmental issues, Camden Design Group has now decided to take on the building at 21 Elm Street.

“Around the world, the notion that ‘pollution is the price of progress’ has become antiquated. Faced with ever mounting costs to human health and economic losses in agriculture and forestry, countries everywhere are discovering that pollution prevention is a sound investment. This is why we have decided to remove the Glade air freshener from the third floor bathroom.” says Anneli Skaar Rocknak.

As the mornings have increasingly signaled the wafting smells of Glade Country Gardens and shit, the two designers have taken matters into their own hands by removing the air freshener and hiding it in the Xerox supplies closet. The situation improved for awhile until the can was mysteriously replaced by Hawaiian Breeze.

“Now it smells like pineapples and shit,” Rocknak reports dejectedly.

“There are various cited causes of ozone deterioration such as motor vehicle emissions, cleaning products and pesticides, to name a few. The use of these items will act to slowly cause the ozone to deteriorate. The good news is that the Glade cans are small, and can easily be fit into the leg of your pants in order to smuggle it out of the bathroom in order to dispose of it,” the designers demonstrate.

“We feel like we are doing our part to improve the environment, however small,” says Rocknak.

“Would Al Gore use French Vanilla or Fruit Explosion spray? I don’t think he would,” adds Steinau.
